"Center
for Certification and Computerization" State Enterprise
|
The Center was established with the aim of certifying
and creating passport system of physical culture and
recreational as well as sports buildings within the
Republic, coordinating and providing assistance in their
activities to organizations, enterprises, and individuals,
regardless of their form of property and departmental
affiliations of owners, as well as implementing up-to-date
information and communication technologies (ICTs) in
the field of culture and sports.
Department of Certification
The
Department is aimed at coordinating and regulating the
activities of organizations, enterprises, juridical
persons and individuals providing services in the sphere
of physical culture and sports. The Department provides
practical and methodical assistance to leaders of sports
installations and buildings, as well as their use and
construction and lead them to the level world standard.
Currently the specialists of the department are working
on methodical instructions base on certification and
classification of sports buildings, their types and
categories, in order to contribute to their meeting
world standards, norms of sports equipment and inventories,
the methods of renting rate for the use of sports buildings
as well as their norms of personnel list
The authorized organization on certification of sports
buildings is the State Unitary Enterprise “Center for
Certification and Computerization” under the Ministry
of Culture and Sports Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
Department of Computerization
The
Department carries out activities on implementing up-to-date
ICTs (Information and Communication Technologies) in
the sphere of physical culture and sports and organizing
the access to global network so called internet and
e-document handling, creating web pages and computer
engineering, small and large type local networking.
In the near future, we are planning to create a single
sports and informational database of Uzbekistan, which
will unite all cultural and sports federations, organizations
and other agencies in the country, as well as providing
up-to-date information on all ongoing events within
the country as well as abroad.
"Beldersay" Sports Base
Our skiing sports base Beldersay takes place on the
top of the mountains. This is a perfect destination
for skiing and spending a fun vacation in any season
of the year. For your convenience, the base is equipped
with the air-lift to enjoy the exclusive views of mountains.
It is located 80 kilometers away from south-east Tashkent
and can be reached within 1,5-2 by car, and you will
find yourself in the extremely amazing spot. The skiing
tracks are just a few minutes walk. The hills are covered
with snow and remain the same way from November until
late April. As a matter of fact, Beldersay is one of
the internationally recognized skiing centers.

Museum of Olympic Glory |
|
The primary goal of the museum is to carry out planning
and organizatin of exhibition events presenting the
top achievements of our athletes in Olympics and other
international events.

Tashkent State Institute
of Physical Culture |
The State Institute of Physical
Culture is one of the major higher sports institutions
in Central Asia. It consists of 4 faculties and 19 departments
in various sports specialities, which have been producing
highly qualified specialists, trainers, coaches, who
make a great contribution to promotion of physical culture
in Uzbekistan.
The student body of the Institute is 1301. The Institute
of Physical Culture offers significant financial aid
to highly qualified and promising students, and 790
of them study in full governmental scholarships, and
511 study for tuition. The residence halls accommodate
more than 550 students.
The students have a wide variety of options of majors
to choose from depending on their interests. The faculties

Republic College
of Olympic Reserve of Tashkent City |
The College was founded in 1961, and since 1991,
the Republic of Uzbekistan became an independent country.
In this short period, the athletes of Uzbekistan started
taking part in Olympics and put their country on the
map, representing it to the whole world.
Currently the College has 20 departments, and the student
body is 650, who come from different regions of Uzbekistan.
For their best preparation, the College is equipped
with up-to-date arena for light athletics, the stadium
of 5000 seats, gyms for boxing and gymnastics, winter
swimming pool, 3 soccer fields, 3 residence halls residing
450 students, dining hall for 200 persons, the academic
building for 450 persons, an updated laboratory, a medical
service center and two sports bases in the resort districts
of Chimgan and Yangiabad.
All the students are provided with free accommodation,
room and board, clothing and inventories during their
academic years at the College.
Thanks to the development of physical culture and sports
in the independent Republic, Uzbek athletes are participating
in Asian games and world competitions and achieved a
great success. Up to these days, the students of the
College represented Uzbekistan in the arenas of more
than 50 countries of the world, some of which are United
States of America, Canada, New Zealand, Egypt, Morocco,
Australia, and more than 15 European and 15 Asian countries,
and many South American countries as well.

Editorial |
"Sport" Newspaper Editorial was initiated
in 1932 and up to these days, three following types
of newspapers are being published: "Sport",
"Sport+Football of Uzbekistan", "Football
of Uzbekistan".
The primary aim of publishing "Sport", "Sport+Football
of Uzbekistan", "Football of Uzbekistan"
newspapers is to call residents of the country in involving
into physical culture and sport, and bring the latest
developments of sporting events in the country and abroad
in all types of sports including national ones, as well
as to bring the current updates from lives of sports
stars.
